Pack Walks

Walking Together. Learning Together. Wagging All the Way.

Sussex K9 Academy Pack Walks are all about calm group adventures with purpose. These aren’t chaotic free-for-alls – they’re structured, supervised walks that help dogs build confidence, practise good manners, and enjoy the company of other dogs in a relaxed, positive way.

Led by our experienced, dog-savvy team, each walk is carefully planned with dogs matched by size, temperament, and ability. This keeps the pack balanced and the atmosphere calm, allowing dogs to settle into the walk, switch off, and simply enjoy being part of the group.

Pack walks are brilliant for dogs who need a little help with lead walking, focus, or social confidence. They’re also a gentle, supported way for nervous or reactive dogs to experience being around others, with introductions handled slowly and thoughtfully. Every dog goes at their own pace, and no one is ever pushed beyond what they’re comfortable with.

Using secure spaces and carefully chosen routes, our pack walks offer the perfect mix of physical exercise and mental stimulation. Dogs return tired, content, and proud of themselves – the best kind of tired.

Sussex K9 Academy Pack Walks aren’t just about getting steps in – they’re about learning, growing, and enjoying the journey together.

Is a Pack Walk Right for My Dog?

Pack walks are great for lots of dogs, but every pup is different. A Sussex K9 Academy pack walk might be perfect if your dog:

  • ✔️ Enjoys the company of other dogs (or wants to learn to!)

  • ✔️ Needs help with calm lead walking and focus

  • ✔️ Benefits from structured exercise rather than free-for-all play

  • ✔️ Is nervous, overexcited, or reactive and needs a supported, controlled environment

  • ✔️ Comes home happier, calmer, and ready for a good snooze

Pack walks might not be suitable just yet if your dog struggles with intense aggression or isn’t comfortable being handled by others – but don’t worry! We’re always happy to chat and recommend the best next step, whether that’s gradual introductions, one-to-one support, or an alternative option.
